Background
LeadStar Africa Consultants Limited was incorporated in the Republic of Kenya on the 20th of March 2012 Leadstar Africa Consultants Limited under the Companies Act ( Cap.486), registration No CPR/2012/69117 with its Head Quarters in Kericho, Kenya. Some of its objectives include but not limited to promotion of best Business Management and Leadership Skills , Corporate Governance practices, Organizational Capacity Building in areas of Management.
Leadstar Africa Consultants Ltd was formed with a broad objective of helping thousands of individuals and business organizations in Africa to find solutions to business and organizational challenges. It started operations in March 2012 at its Africa headquarters in Kericho, Kenya.
The core business of the company is to provide high impact training services, top of class business & management consulting and personal effectiveness programs that seeks to catapult the individuals and organizations to a high level of performance and success.

Dr. Wilson Soy
The Director
Dr. Wilson Soy PhD,MKIM, IoD-K, has immense experience, having worked for more than 32 years in managerial capacity, with Finlays, a Multi-national company incorporated in Great Britain, dealing in tea growing and production and he is a re-known consultant in matters tea husbandry, tea production including CTC black and green tea, Orthodox and brown and green Instant tea and value addition. Has consulted wildly on mechanical tea harvesting and impact of climate change on tea production. Has consulted He has fast experience in Change Management, Field Operations in Agriculture and Performance Management programs, and is The Founding Director of LeadStar Africa Consultants Ltd.
Dr. Soy is also a scholar and has a Doctor of Philosophy – Ph.D in Business Administration, Bircham International University, Spain. He holds a Master of Science in Business Administration (MBA) from Bircham International University, Madrid, Spain. He has a Bachelor of Arts( Corporate Leadership and Governance) degree and three Diplomas from Cambridge College, Britain.

Dr. Soy is a motivational speaker. He has delivered his talks in colleges, schools and other public forums. He worked as a part time Lecturer of Entrepreneurship and Strategic management for students pursuing MBA at Kenyatta University and post graduate diploma on Corporate Governance at KCA University.
He is a Full Member of Kenya Institute of Management (FKIM) and was also Kenya Institute of Management council member (MKIM). He was a council member of Association of professional Societies of East Africa (APSEA)
Dr. Soy is a widely travelled Scholar in pursuit of business management and leadership knowledge. He attended trainings both locally and internationally organized by various world renown trainers including Tack International, Kenya Institute of Management and also Advanced Management training INSEAD, Singapore.
While in employment at Finalys, he visiting a number of countries on tea business matters and management exchange programs, giving him the much
needed international exposure.
Dr. Soy has also attended Training in Corporate Governance hosted by Centre for Corporate Governance - (CCG Kenya)
He is also a renowned environmental conservationist, having joint a pressure group, Friends of Mau Watershed – FOMAWA, to conserve and restore the Mau Water Towers. Since 1992, he has developed keen interest on the health of Mau forest complex and its impact on the farming sector in South Rift region.
In 2008, he was appointed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kenya as a Member of the Task Force to look at Mau Forest Complex issues.
Dr. Soy is certified in Mediation and Peace Building and has been actively involved in matters of conflict resolution in a multi- ethnic community and in various initiatives touching on social, educational and economic welfare of the society. He has worked very closely with various NGOs in matters of SOCIO-ECONOMIC matters and peace building initiatives.
Dr Soy is the lead Consultant Trainer on Business management and Leadership, Team Building Initiatives, SME and Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management among others.
He is the Founder Director of LeadStar Africa Consultants Ltd, an initiative for empowering people in matters of education, business leadership and management with good corporate governance as a vehicle for sustainability.
LeadStar Africa Consultants, were awarded a grant for a Peace Building Initiative by USAID/KTI to undertake Peace Building in all the Tea Estates in Kericho, Bomet and Nyamira Counties under Conflict Resolution and Mitigation initiative

coexistence with each other in an ethnically diverse environment
